Murdock Pemberton (1888-1982) was art critic for the "New Yorker" from 1925-1932 and again in the 1950s. He was author of "Sing High, Sing Low," a comedy which played on Broadway in 1931, and was associated with his brother Brock Pemberton in the production of several other Broadway plays. Art critic; New York, N.Y.; b. 1888; d. 1982 Wrote for the New Yorker magazine.
